Tree Trimming

TreeTrimming.jpg

Not all trees are trimmed the same way, and knowing the difference is important. Crown reduction (or topping) is reducing the height or weight of the tree at the top branches. Lacing or thinning the tree is performed on the branch network throughout the tree; cutting out dead and crossed branches and pruning the remainder to lighten the load the main branches.

Tree Removal

Your tree will be removed safely and securely!

The complete removal of a standing tree can be done in many different ways. When a tree is in an area with enough room around it we can make notch cut at the bottom of the tree, then cutting from the opposite side towards the notch, the tree will fall away from the cutter. Often times as a safety back up we tie a rope towards the top of the tree and the crew pulls the tree at the same time as it is cut. When the tree is close to a structure a climber will climb to the top of the tree and cuts off branches one at a time and where necessary lowers branches by rope to reduce risk of damage to structure.

Stump Grinding

Removal of a tree stump with a machine that has a cutter wheel with teeth. When applied to the stump the teeth turn the stump and roots into mulch. When stump and root grinding is completed we back fill the hole with mulch and dirt, rake the area level, and haul away any extra mulch you don't want.
